At the Center for Brain Research (CBR) a broad spectrum of Neuroscience-related lectures, seminars and laboratory courses are offered. These include basic lectures giving an overview of Neuroscience for undergraduate students and more specialized lectures providing in-dept knowledge in various aspects of Neuroscience.
The Neuroscience lectures at our Center are integrated into different disciplines of study (Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics) from different Universities (Medical University of Vienna, University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology). The lecture series are part of the obligatory undergraduate course work or belong to different programs (e.g. PhD-Neuroscience, Master´s in Molecular Biology).
The PhD program in Neuroscience belongs to the PhD program of the Medical University of Vienna (N094) with lectures and courses held in the English language. All students performing their PhD theses at the CBR are part of this program. PhD students from external laboratories can apply to attend the Neuroscience program. -more-
