18 fully funded PhD positions will be offered within this international English speaking programme with the final goal to train the next generation of top-educated neuroscientists.
To be eligible to enrol in the MedUniv Vienna PhD program "Neuroscience" all candidates are required to have a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in medicine, biology, chemistry, bioinformatics, mathematics or any scientific/technical, subject-relevant degree. Candidates applying with a Bachelor's degree must have completed a four-year course and need to demonstrate that they have acquired a significant amount of research experience. You have to document that your degree formally qualifies you to enter a PhD or equivalent programme in the country where you obtain your degree.
Candidates do not need to have completed their degree at the time of application; however, they must obtain their final degree certificate by the end of July 2018.

In the Department of Neurophysiology is a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA, m/w) position available from the 1st of July, 2018. This position includes participation and collaboration work on scientific projects. This part time position is initially a one year contract with option to extend to an unlimited contract thereafter. Placement depends on qualification.
